  7. Narrated by Abu Syed Khudri(RA:) The Prophet(S:) said, "When the people of Paradise will enter the Paradise and the people of Hell will go to the Hell, Allah will order those who have had faith equal to the weight of a grain of mustard seed to be taken out from the Hell. So they will be taken out but (by then) they will be blackened. Then they will be put into the river of Haya' (rain) or Hayat (life) (the Narrator is in doubt as to which is the right term), and they will revive like a grain that grows near the bank of a flood channel. Don't you see that it comes out yellow and twisted"

These are verses of the Book of Wisdom,
A guidance and a mercy for those who do good,
Those who observe Prayer and pay the Zakat and who have firm faith in the Hereafter.
It is they who follow guidance from their Lord, and it is they who shall prosper.
And of men is he who takes idle tales in exchange for guidance to lead men astray from the path of Allah, without knowledge, and to make fun of it. For such there will be humiliating punishment.
And when Our Signs are recited to him, he turns proudly away, as though he heard them not, as if there were a heaviness in both his ears. So announce to him a painful punishment.
Surely those who believe and do good works — they will have Gardens of Delight,
Wherein they will abide. Allah has made a true promise; and He is the Mighty, the Wise.
He has created the heavens without any pillars that you can see, and He has placed in the earth firm mountains that it may not quake with you, and He has scattered therein all kinds of creatures; and We have sent down water from the clouds, and caused to grow therein every noble species.

That is the reward of the enemies of Allah — the Fire. For them there will be an abiding home therein as a requital because they used to deny Our Signs.

From the end moment of “Sheree” (starting of the fasting) until the sun sets behind the horizon, we should avoid eating anything, drinking anything, having sex, smoking, backbiting, finding others fault, criticisms to others etc. Then as soon as the sun sets, you should break the fasting. While fasting it may be possible to sneak away and eat in private but we should remember that Allah(Sob:) sees everything we do. So, following the fast properly increases the awareness of the fear of our Lord Allah(Sob:) who sees all our activities both secret and open.

And remember what is rehearsed in your houses of the Signs of Allah and of wisdom. Truly Allah is the Knower of subtleties, All-Aware. Surely, men who submit themselves to Allah and women who submit themselves to Him, and believing men and believing women, and obedient men and obedient women and truthful men and truthful women, and men steadfast in their faith and steadfast women, and men who are humble and women who are humble, and men who give alms and women who give alms, and men who fast and women who fast, and men who guard their chastity and women who guard their chastity, and men who remember Allah much and women who remember Him — Allah has prepared for all of them forgiveness and a great reward. And it behoves not a believing man or a believing woman, when Allah and His Messenger have decided a matter, that there should be a choice for them in the matter concerning them. And whoso disobeys Allah and His Messenger, surely strays away in manifest error. And remember when thou didst say to him on whom Allah had bestowed favors and on whom thou also had bestowed favors: ‘Keep thy wife to thyself, and fear Allah.’ And thou didst conceal in thy heart what Allah was going to bring to light, and thou wast afraid of the people, whereas Allah has better right that thou should fear Him. Then, when Zaid had accomplished his wife want of her so as to have no further need of her, We joined her in marriage to thee, so that there may be no hindrance for the believers with regard to the wives of their adopted sons, when they have accomplished their want of them. And Allah’s decree must be fulfilled. There can be no hindrance for the Prophet with regard to that which Allah has made incumbent upon him. Such indeed was the way of Allah with those who have passed away before — and the command of Allah is a decree ordained —Those who delivered the Messages of Allah and feared Him, and feared none but Allah. And sufficient is Allah as a Reckoner. Muhammad is not the father of any of your men, but he is the Messenger of Allah and the Seal of the Prophets; and Allah has full knowledge of all things. O you who believe! remember Allah with much remembrance; And glorify Him morning and evening. He it is Who sends blessings on you, as do His angels, that He may bring you forth from all kinds of darkness into light. And He is Merciful to the believers. Their greeting on the day when they meet Him will be, ‘Peace.’ And He has prepared for them an honorable reward. O Prophet, truly We have sent you as a Witness, and Bearer of glad news, and a

Say: "If the ocean were ink (wherewith to write out) the words of my Lord, sooner would the ocean be exhausted than would the words of my Lord, even if we added another ocean like it, for its aid." Say: "I am but a man like yourselves, (but) the inspiration has come to me, that your Allah is the one Allah: whoever expects to meet his Lord, let him work righteousness, and in the worship of his Lord, admit no one as partner. - The Holy Quran:18:100-110.

And who is more unjust than he who is reminded of the Signs of his Lord, but turns away from them, and forgets what his hands have sent forward? Verily, We have placed veils over their hearts that they understand it not, and in their ears a deafness. And if thou call them to guidance, they will never accept it. And thy Lord is Most Forgiving, full of mercy. If He were to seize them for what they have earned, then surely He would have hastened the punishment for them. But they have an appointed time from which they will find no refuge. And these towns — We destroyed them when they committed iniquities. And We appointed a fixed time for their destruction. - The Holy Quran:18: 58-60

    Verily, We created man from an extract of clay;
    Then We placed him as a drop of sperm in a safe depository;
Then We fashioned the sperm into a clot; then We fashioned the clot into ashapeless lump; then We fashioned bones out of this shapeless lump; then We clothed the bones with flesh; then We developed it into another creation. So blessed be Allah, the Best of creators. Then after that you must surely die.
Then on the Day of Resurrection will you be raised up. And We have created above you seven heavens lying one above the other, and We are never neglectful of the creation. And We sent down water from the sky according to measure, and We caused it to stay in the earth — and surely it is We Who determine its taking away —And We produced for you thereby gardens of date-palms and vines; for you therein are abundant fruits; and of them you eat.- The Holy Quran: 23:13-20.

Then We sent Moses and his brother Haron, with Our Signs and a clear authority,
To Pharaoh and his chiefs; but they behaved arrogantly and they were a haughty people. And they said, ‘Shall we believe in two men like ourselves while their people are our servants?’ So they called them liars, and they were of those who were destroyed. And We gave Moses the Book, that they might be guided.
O ye Messengers, eat of the things that are pure, and do good works. Verily, I am well aware of what you do. And know that this community of yours is one community, and I am your Lord. So take Me as your Protector. But they (the people) have cut up their affairs among themselves forming themselves into parties, each group rejoicing in what they have.So leave them in their confusion for a time.
Do they think that by the wealth and children with which We help them, We hasten to do them good? And even, but they do not understand.Verily, those who fear their Lord, holding Him in reverence, And those who believe in the Signs of their Lord,
And those who ascribe not partners to their Lord, And those who give what they give while their hearts are full of fear because to their Lord they will return —
These it is who hasten to do good works, and these it is who are foremost in them.
And We do not burden any soul beyond its capacity, and with Us is a Book that speaks the truth, and they will not be wronged. - The Holy Quran: 23:46-63.

And even, their hearts are utterly heedless of this Book, and besides that they have deeds in which they are engaged; Until, when We seize those of them who indulge in luxury with punishment, behold, they cry for help. ‘Cry not for help this day, surely you shall not be helped by Us. ‘Truly, My Signs were recited unto you, but you used to turn back on your heels, ‘Big with pride, telling stories about it (the Qur’an) by night, talking nonsense.’ Have they not, then, pondered over the Divine Word, or has that come unto them which came not to their fathers of old? Or do they not recognize their Messenger, that they thus deny him?
Or do they say, there is madness in him? Nay, he has brought them the truth, and most of them hate the truth. And if the Truth had followed their desires, verily, the heavens and the earth and whosoever is therein would have been corrupted. Nay, We have brought them their admonition, but from their own admonition they now turn aside. Or dost thou ask of them any reward? But the reward of thy Lord is best; and He is the Best of providers. And most surely thou invest them to a right path. - The Holy Quran: 23: 64-74.

And those who do not believe in the Hereafter, are indeed deviating from that path.
And if We had mercy on them and relieved them of their affliction, they would still persist in their transgression, wandering blindly. We did seize them with punishment, but they humbled not themselves to their Lord, nor would they supplicate in lowliness. Until, when We open on them a gate of severe as tisement, behold, they are in despair thereat. And He it is Who has created for you ears, and eyes, and ears; but little thanks do you give. And He it is Who has multiplied you
in the earth, and unto Him shall you be gathered. And He it is Who gives life and causes death, and in His hands is the alternation of night and day. Will you not then understand? But they say like what the former people said. They say, ‘What! when we are dead and have become mere dust and bones, shall we indeed be raised up again? ‘This is what we have been promised before, we and our fathers. This is nothing but fables of the ancients.’ Say, ‘To whom belongs the earth and whosoever is therein, if you know?’ ‘To Allah’, they will say. Say, ‘Will you not then be admonished?’ Say, ‘Who is the Lord of the seven heavens, and the Lord of the Great Throne?’ They will say, ‘They are Allah’s.’ Say, ‘Will you not then take Him as your Protector? Say, ‘In Whose hand is the dominion over all things and Who protects, but against Whom there is not protection, if you know?’ – The Holy Quran: 23:75-89.

They will say, ‘All this belongs to Allah.’ Say, ‘How then are you mislead?’
Yea, We have brought them the truth, and they are certainly liars. Allah has not taken unto Himself any son, nor is there any other God along with Him; in that case each god would have taken away what he had created, and some of them would surely have dominated over others. Glorified be Allah above all that which they attribute to Him! Knower of the unseen and of the seen! Exalted therefore is He above all that which they associate with Him! Say, ‘My Lord, if Thou wilt show me that with which they are threatened. ‘My Lord, then place me not with the wrongdoing people.’ And certainly We have the power to show thee that with which We threaten them. Repel evil with that which is best. We are well acquainted
with the things they allege. And say, ‘My Lord, I seek refuge in Thee from the incitements of the evil ones. ‘And I seek refuge in Thee, my Lord, lest they come near me.’ Until, when death comes to one of them, he says entreating, ‘My Lord, send me back, ‘That I may do righteous deeds in the life that I have left behind.’ Never, it is but a word that he utters. And behind them is a barrier until the day when they shall be raised again.- The Holy Quran: 23:90-101.

And when the trumpet is blown, there will be no ties of relationship between them that day, nor will they ask after one another. Then those whose good works are heavy — these will be prosperous; But those whose good works are light — these are they who ruin their souls; in Hell will they abide. The Fire will burn their faces and they will grin with fear therein. ‘Were not My Signs recited unto you, and you treated them as lies?’ They will say, ‘Our Lord, our wickedness overcame us, and we were an erring people. ‘Our Lord, take us out of this, then if we return to disobedience, we shall indeed be wrongdoers. Allah will say, “Away with you, despised therein, and speak not from Me. “There was a party from among My servants who said, ‘Our Lord, we believe; forgive us therefore our sins, and have mercy on us; for Thou art the Best of those who show mercy.’ “But you made them a laughing stock until they became the cause of your forgetting My remembrance while you continued laughing at them. “I have rewarded them this day for their steadfastness so that they alone have triumphed.” Allah will say, ‘What number of years did you stayed in the earth?’ They will say, ‘We stayed for a day or part of a day, but ask those who keep count.’ He will say, ‘You stayed but a little, if only you knew! ‘Did you then think that We had created you without purpose, and that you would not be brought back to Us?’ Exalted then be Allah, the True Lord. There is no Worship but He, The Lord of the Glorious Throne. - The Holy Quran: 23:102-117.

  53. Kuakata
Kuakata (Bengali: কুয়াকাটা) is a panoramic sea beach and village[1] on the southernmost tip of Bangladesh.[2] Located in the Patuakhali district, Kuakata has a wide sandy beach from where one can see both the sunrise and sunset. It is about 320 Kilometers south of Dhaka, the capital, and about 70 Kilometers from the district headquarters. The Kuakata beach is 30 km long and 6 km wide. On 13 September 2007 government had announced a red alert in Kuakata as caution for a possible Tsunami Kuakata offers a full view of the sunrise and sunset from the same white sandy beach in the water of the Bay of Bengal.
Locally known as Shagor Kannya (Daughter of ocean), the long strip of dark, marbled sand stretches for about 30 km. The long and wide beach at Kuakata has a typical natural setting. This sandy beach has gentle slopes into the Bay of Bengal. Kuakata is also a sanctuary for migratory winter birds. On the eastern end of the beach is Gongamati Reserved Forest, an evergreen mangrove forest and snippet of the original Kuakata. When the Rakhines settled in the area in 1784, Kuakata was part of the larger Sundarbans forest. However, the Sundarbans is now at a distance of one-hour by speed boat. As a mangrove forest, Gongamati, like the Sundarbans, offers some protection against tidal surges, however it too is being threatened by logging and deforestation. The best way to reach the forest is by foot or bike along the beach, where a flock of flag flying fishing boats can be seen trawling the coast. Choosing to visit Gangamati in the late afternoon is a perfect time to watch the sun caste shadows on the abstract exposed mangrove roots. Kuakata is the place of pilgrimage for both Hindu and Buddhist communities. Innumerable devotees arrive here at the festival of 'Rush Purnima' and 'Maghi Purnima'. On these two occasions the pilgrims take holy bath at the bay and participate in the traditional fairs.[5]One may also visit the 100 years old Buddhist Temple where the statue of Goutama Buddha and two wells of 200 years old are located. he government and local business owners have made significant developments over the years to attract tourist to its shores. Nowadays, local people are more supportive to the tourists and communications have improved significantly. A new Police station was built in 2007. Accordingly, the law and order situation in the open beach, even at night, has improved significantly.

Narrated By Abu Huraira(RA:) The Prophet(SWS) said, "When Ramadan begins, the gates of Paradise are opened."

Narrated By Ibn Umar(RA:) I heard The Prophet(SWS) saying, "When you see the crescent (of the month of Ramadan), start fasting, and when you see the crescent (of the month of Shawwal), stop fasting; and if the sky is overcast (and you can't see It) then regard the crescent (month) of Ramadan (as of 30 days)".

Narrated By Al-Miqdad bin 'Amr Al-Kindi : An ally of Bani Zuhra who took part in the battle of Badr with the Prophet(SWS), that he said, "O Allah's Apostle! If I meet an unbeliever and we have a fight, and he strikes my hand with the sword and cuts it off, and then takes refuge from me under a tree, and says, 'I have surrendered to Allah (i.e. embraced Islam),' may I kill him after he has said so?" The Prophet(SWS) said, "Do not kill him." Al-Miqdad said, "But O Allah's Apostle! He had chopped off one of my hands and he said that after he had cut it off. May I kill him?" The Prophet(SWS) said. "Do not kill him for if you kill him, he would be in the position in which you had been before you kill him, and you would be in the position in which he was before he said the sentence."

  55. Eid ul-Fitr is observed over a three-day public holiday in Bangladesh. Educational institutions, banks and corporate offices usually remain closed for a week during this time. Bangladeshi observe the holiday by performing the obligatory Eid prayers on the morning of Eid, giving Zakat ul Fitr, and visiting friends and relatives. Popular customs also include ladies decorating one's hands with henna, dressing up in new clothes and having a good meal with family and friends.

All Muslims dress in the clothing(Panjabee, Pazama and other dress) and children also dressed with the colorful clothing and received gifts from their seniors on this day.

Eid-ul-Fitr is the first day of the Islamic month of Shawwal. It marks the end of Ramadan, which is a month of fasting and prayer. Many Muslims attend communal prayers, listen to a Khutba (sermon) and give zakat al-fitre (charity in the form of food) during Eid ul-Fitr.

Many Muslims attend communal prayers and listen to a Khutba or sermon on the first day of the month of Shawwal. These prayers are held outside or in large venues, such as ‘Eidgha’ Mosque and others open fields. Many Muslims may travel far to participate in these activities. Some communities organize different festivities, such as communal meals or events for children, on this day.
If a Muslim has not given zakat al-fitr during Ramadan, he or she can give this on Eid-al-Fitr. Zakat al-fitr is a form of charity consisting of a quantity of food, such as barley, dates, raisins or wheat flour, or its monetary equivalent given to the poor. Many Muslims may also prepare festive meals to share, wear new clothes, visit relatives and give presents or candy to children. Cards can also be sent, often featuring the words “Eid Mubbarak” (blessed Eid).
